An art review on Friday about “Robert Adams: The Place We Live, a Retrospective Selection of Photographs” at the Yale University Art Gallery, misidentified the subject of the photograph “Sally, Weld County, Colorado.” Sally is a dog, not a cat.

Actually, Sally is the name of the tree. The dog is called Weld County.
Why the world will always need copyeditors. A few seconds of online searching would confirm that Sally is unambiguously canine in her other photos in the Yale collection: http://discover.odai.yale.edu/ydc/Record/1713220
