You keep forgetting to name the guilty party....
Whoever they are, they must live somewhere pretty balmy for -2 to count as "the big chill." What are they going to do when winter comes?
I'd wager a year's subscription to SPSS that you could find a statistically significant, positive linear relationship between the number of copy desk jobs eliminated and the frequency of cliched phrases in headlines...
