I've just been doing a crossword, so I THINK I've got it: "Data hint THAT how far STUDENTS ARE BUSED may tell (i.e. CORRELATE WITH)how well bused students do."
But I won't be shocked if you tell me there's another interpretation. (that "hint how far may tell" is a real brain-twister.)
Student performance is related to the duration of the morning bus ride.
Yeah, I think that's right, but that wasn't what I came up with at first. I first came up with that there is new data that may help us be more certain of our (previous?) conclusions on the performance of bused students.
Dunno what it means, but it scans rather nicely as half of a ballad stanza.
Was this the April Fool headline?
