Verb of the month
I'm trying to use this one in a sentence, without a great deal of success:
When Harry vs. Sally
When Worlds Vs.
When the moon vs. your eye.
Any help would be appreciated.

yike. I have no help to offer...
You beat me to it. I was saving this one! Someone at my local liner has been routinely using vs. in headlines as a synonym for against. Writing by thesaurus.
I thought my daughter invented this one when she challenged me to a video game saying, "Hey, Mom. I'll verse you in Tekken."
PS: I read this blog all the time and am always amused.
She doesn't want to grow up and become an editorial writer, does she?
