Hi there, big fella

Good thing he didn't make those remarks in front of any undercover officers in any Midwestern airports.
And in other developments on the Hed Ambiguity Front, The S
tate checks in with this three- headed monster.

What's illegal: The drugs, the sales or the custom? Film at 11.

From the story:
"The sale of prescription drugs in 'tiendas,' or groceries, is common in Latin America, and authorities say Hispanic entrepreneurs are bringing the custom to South Carolina."
Why, I wonder, are they singling out groceries for the translation treatment? Is it even necessary? I believe I'm catching a whiff of orientalism. While we're at it, I think "tienda" connotes "mom-and-pop store," as opposed to a Dillons/Harris Teeter/Safeway/what have you megastore.
